1. They’ve accomplished what you’re striving for. 2. They have massively more experience than you. 3. They’ve produced work recently (not long retired). 4. They are willing, capable & ideally enjoy mentoring.
Great mentors will, without a doubt:
– Show you everything their experience taught them – Support and guide you on how to overcome yourself – Push you to achieve great things to surpass them – Save you years of constantly learning new things
